The United Nations Office to the African Union (UNOAU) has launched the ‘She Stands for Peace’ e-book where Esther Omam is being featured.

Published by the United Nations Office to the African Union (UNOAU) with support from the United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (DPPA), this e-book is a continuation of UNOAU’s effort in amplifying the voices of women and women’s networks who are making remarkable contributions to the promotion of peace and security in Africa.

The e-book outlines stories and experiences of women peace builders (20 women and 3 women networks) in Africa. We are optimistic that the stories featured in the e-book will inspire more positive actions to support African women’s peacebuilding efforts and motivate women and young girls to engage and contribute to the promotion of peace and security in Africa and the world.
