Communities are the first to know persons who are food insecure and have a better position to identify the most vulnerable of them. We are are currently being assisted by community stakeholders in the verification of beneficiaries to ensure that they are confirmed vulnerable by the entire community and are resident these communities to benefit food aid.
This verification is an aftermath of the successful profiling of 61,000 individuals vulnerable to food insecurity in Mayo Sava, Mayo Tsanaga, Mayo Danay and Logone we Chari, conducted based on the food insecurity vulnerability criteria, to ensure that no one is excluded in the process.
Profiling and verifying participants is a sustainable measure to ensure that deserving beneficiaries are given the required assistance, based on their level of vulnerability.
